My loved one had unpaid tickets in Brenham and ended up being transferred there from Houston where we live. This is the first time I've had to bail someone out. When you're dealing with this situation things can get confusing fast especially when you have limited information because you can't speak to the person who is in jail but for a moment or two. A relative of his, and I called twice inquiring about bail and how to get him out. The first time his brother, also new to the process, had agreed to come up there and sign a paper and bring him cash, not realizing that the bail company is in Brenham. I had him call back and explain to them that we don't currently have a vehicle that can make a 2 hour trip both ways and to ask them specifically why we could not fax in co-signing documents. We were told it wasn't possible with no other explanation.

After checking a few other options I decided to call one last time to ask questions about the general process of bonding someone out and solidify my plan of action today. Apparently, my loved one had missed a previous court date. I was treated with hostility and I felt like Mike was accusing us of being dishonest (because of his brother's mistake in thinking they were in Houston even though we called back.) He decided to flat out refuse us service. If Mike would have simply answered my question and provided us with information as to why we could not get a notary and fax him the co-signing paperwork I would have understood and moved along. Instead he was a rude and unhelpful jerk. You can have logical reasons to refuse service to someone, but you do not have to be rude to people.

I would suggest going to a business with a more professional staff.
